Double Chocolate Marshmallow Nut Cookies
Ingredients:
- 1 cup 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

- 1 cup mini marshmallows
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and line baking sheets with parchment paper
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition
Stir in the vanilla extract
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined
Fold in the chocolate chips, chopped nuts, and mini marshmallows until they are evenly distributed throughout the cookie dough
Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving enough space for the cookies to spread while baking
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still slightly soft
The marshmallows should be toasted and golden brown
Remove the cookies from the oven and allow them to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely
