Chinese Cabbage & Ginger Soup
This Chinese cabbage and ginger soup is a comforting and flavorful dish that is easy to prepare. The combination of ginger and sesame oil adds a warm and aromatic flavor to the soup, while the Chinese cabbage provides a light and refreshing texture.
Ingredients:
- 1 Chinese cabbage, chopped
- 2 inches ginger, thinly sliced
- 6 cups vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions:
Bring vegetable broth to a boil in a big pot
Shred some Chinese cabbage and put it in the pot
Let the cabbage cook slowly for 10 to 15 minutes, until its soft
Add the rice vinegar, soy sauce, and sesame oil and mix them in
Add pepper and salt to taste
Serve hot with chopped green onions on top
