Vegan Chocolate Caramel Bars
Indulge in these decadent vegan chocolate caramel bars that are not only gluten-free but also incredibly delicious. The combination of rich chocolate, gooey caramel, and crunchy nuts will satisfy your sweet cravings guilt-free.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup dates, pitted
- 1 cup almonds
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup almond butter
- 1/4 cup dairy-free chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
Instructions:
Mix dates, almonds, shredded coconut, cocoa powder, maple syrup, almond butter, and sea salt in a food processor until a sticky dough forms
Spread out the dough in a baking dish that has been lined with parchment paper
Put chocolate chips and coconut oil in a bowl that can go in the microwave
In 30-second intervals, stir the mixture in the microwave until it melts
Spread out the melted chocolate layer on top of the dough layer
Put it in the fridge for at least two hours to let it set
Cut into bars and serve after its set
